I really enjoy Pilates with Arabelle. She is a patient, thorough teacher, who is keen for her class both to enjoy their lessons and to get the most out of them as individuals. Highly recommended!
Fantastic classes and great fun - gently challenging, helping you make continual improvement to build your core strength. Arabelle is a great instructor, she takes time to understands your needs and aims, tailors the exercises to suit your ability and is creative, providing a wide range of variety. Never dull! Although I have only been attending for a few months I can already feel a difference and really look forward to my next class
'I joined Arabelle's Pilates' class following advice from my osteopath who felt that the stretching and inner core control would help my lower back and sacrum. After nine months of almost weekly classes, I do feel that Pilates has indeed helped. I feel more flexible and now that I am familiar with the moves,stretches, curls and other exercises I can continue working on them at home. Some of the stretches are extremely challenging but with Arabelle's encouragement, patience and good humour I am able to manage. She knows me well enough now so that I work within my limits and will check at the start of every class whether or not I (or the others) have any recent injuries, aches or pains.
I enjoy attending the classes which are small in number, friendly and relaxing. Being first thing on a Monday morning seems to set me up for the week and I certainly leave feeling quite 'chilled out'! Arabelle is very accommodating too. If I need to miss a class one week she will suggest alternative times so that I do not miss out.
